Colton's Baptism and Birthday!

Today was a very special day for us all!  We gathered together to celebrate the baptism and birthday of Colton Craig!  I truly can't believe that he is 8 years old!  The time flew by and just last year he told us he wasn't getting baptized, and as it got closer his tune swiftly changed and he couldnt' wait for the day.  Its rare that you can get baptized on your birthday since in our church its only done on the first Saturday of the month.  So this was a birthday gift to Colton as it was orginally set for the 30th of April.

I had these pictures done for the baptism program, Steve reminded me that I used to make fun of people who did that....well I didn't know it was such a big deal to get baptized, I was a new Mormon, give me a break! :)

Colton does have a very tender sweet side!  I absoutely love this pic of him helping his little brother with his tie!  I can't even do it!  This is a picture made in heaven!

Austin was able to baptize Colton and Steve confirmed him.  As I look back at what I was like at 17, I was in no way the fine example of a young man that Austin is, I am so proud of his accomplishments and choices.

Look at these studs in suits!
I am sure surrounded by good looking men in my life.
We had a great day at the baptism, Kaden gave an amazing and touching talk, he is not afraid to speak in front of people, it terrifies me!  We spent the afternoon enjoying one anothers company with extended family and close friends at the Hamlet Clubhouse! It was a wonderful day, I feel so grateful and blessed in my life.  Thank you Colton for making the choice to get baptized, we are so proud of you.

I'm so glad I was able to be there! Congratulations Colton. Also, wanted to tell you... I get such an amazing vibe out of Austin... That is so rare to feel that around a young man that age. it seems like they are so often preoccupied with other, less important things. Great job raising those three amazing boys!!

Hello... My name is Kendra. I found you kind of a weird way. I am apart of the angel blog and came across your Averys sweet blog a while back. I had gone up to see my sisters grave recently and was walking around when I came across Averys headstone. I was a bit taken back because I knew her but didnt know where... I came back on here and tracked you back down. I just wanted to say hi. We have a small connection in that way but a bigger one in the sense we both are living this road of missing our daughters. Im sure they are both playing in heaven... I said a prayer for Avery. I will think of her often. I will visit her everytime I go see my sister. Have you lived in Heber long? I was born there but moved a while back. If you have been there a while you might know my family but we really did move over 15 years ago...
Anyway. Congrats so Colton on being baptized. So special. You are amazing and I love you without even knowing you.
Love Kendra
